Fantastic single and remixes. Well structured and highlighted with strong vocals over relentlessly driven programming and rhythms.
Favorite track: The Book Of Gates (Take Control Mix).
Stuck in scheduling hell now for 6 months or more, thanks first to a freak injury sustained by drummer Ryan and after that due to the coronavirus shutdown, finally it’s time for the second single from current SIRUS album “Apocrypha” to take flight – and its none other than the live favourite “The Book Of Gates”.
Featuring like previous smash hit “Neon Dominion” (over 300,000 views on our YouTube channel DWA TV) the inimitable lead vocals of Keeva, the already standout original album track has for this release been given an update by songwriter Josh Rombout himself in the form of the “Take Control Mix” which comes on the B-side of the 7” vinyl version and as the second track of the CD and digital EP edition.
That EP edition is rounded out with remixes from longtime SIRUS mastering engineer and recently resurgent electro hitmaker SOMAN, plus Barcelona’s emerging DJ/producer DAVE INOX, both taking the track into previously unimaginable dancefloor-friendly directions.
Current COVID-19 restrictions notwithstanding, SIRUS remain scheduled to tour Germany and beyond as main support act for L’AME IMMORTELLE later this year – and “The Book Of Gates” comes now as a timely reminder of what audiences should expect musically from this vibrant and vital cyberpunk three-piece.
Available in full from July 3, pre-orders for all 3 formats – ultra-limited lathecut 7” vinyl (24 copies), limited edition CDEP (100 copies) and digital EP – are open here NOW

Finally saw Kanga last night in Austin. Amazing and even more energetic than I had expected. The sound was terrific! This is my favorite album thus far but, she keeps getting better. The tracks on this album are arranged (to me) in a way where life is given to the next. It's hard to pick a favorite. Home and Touch! 🖤 Will

Saw Kanga last night in Houston , instantly was entranced by her sound , sucked me into the Kangakult vortex , so glad I got to see her live , should have looked into her sooner as Gary Numan was so supportive of her on the Revolution tour , oh now it’s time to catch up and get further involved Callum Gray
